Did YOU post this note? Christina wrote me to say, "Today I was at Borders in Riverdale, NJ looking for a self help book that my therapist (who I had just started seeing today) recommended. Imagine my surprise when I found a post-it stuck to the inside cover of the book Binge No More that said "NEVER forget how amazing you are! www.operationbeautiful.com" I was so overwhelmed with emotion that I started to cry on the spot. I realized just how much I’ve taken myself for granted over the years. Whoever wrote that note–thank you. You’ve helped me!"
Evangeline says, "I’ve been so inspired by Operation Beauty. I’ve begun a series of small stitchings on yellow cloth that I plan on leaving in the spirit of the O.B. post it notes. I haven’t placed them yet, but I plan on doing the first one tonight. Stitching the words was really moving, and I hope that each piece will help even one woman (or man!) feel as good as it has made me feel to make them!"
Gerri wrote, "I saw your video just before heading to Atlanta, GA for a convention. The concept that you are promoting is inspirational! I went to work in the hotel. Every bathroom I visited received a sticky note with a compliment.
And I left a note for the housekeeper every day, attached to the mirror, with her tip. It was very fun!"

Amanda wrote, "I’m 13 years old, my name is Amanda. I went to the mall one day to hang up my operation beautiful cards in dressing rooms, and on bathroom mirrors. As I was leaving one bathroom in Macy’s the janitor came in. She looked very angry, like her day just wasn’t going well. I waited in the lobby outside of the bathroom assuming she’d swipe the card off the mirror and throw it in the trash. She walked out of the bathroom with a little half-smile on her face, and she just sort of shook her head as she passed me. I headed back in, pulling out a card to replace the one that was there before. Instead I saw the card still on the mirror, with the words "Thank you" written under my "Smile– you never know whose day it’s making" fluorescent index card. Just knowing that the janitor cared enough to not only leave my card up but also to write her appreciation on it made my day."
Angie wrote, "I am a dietitian and I work with people who are struggling with their weight…often, though, a huge part of being successful at weight management is being happy with who you are…being happy in your own skin. I love this idea!! I posted this note in the ladies room at the wellness center where I work…and I was so inspired. I can’t wait to keep posting more!"
Amelia wrote, "I adore Operation Beautiful, and wrote about it on my blog. I posted a note on the scale that recently appeared in the bathroom in my apartment. I was getting sick of using this scale to realize that I always felt a lot heavier than I was. "
Karlee FOUND an Operation Beautiful note! She wrote, "Thank you. This is a wonderful idea. I saw a post-it today in the Wolfchase mall in Cordova, Mississippi and I felt so beautiful and I felt a lot better about myself while trying clothes on and I have trouble feeling that way when shopping, so thank you! Im going to start doing this!"
Bonnie Jean wrote, "The bathroom of my food co-op has a chalkboard and I write this message whenever I’m in there!"
Heather wrote, "I heard about your site a couple of days ago, and I wanted to start right away! I left a note on a bathroom door in the local library where I work, and I heard several people talking about it! It felt great to do something anonymous that people would remember and that would make them feel good. I can’t wait to put up some more!"

omg… I’m starting to cry because of this too…
Last week I went to Borders in Riverdale with a small bunch of post-it notes, all with different little notes on them. I put a few in random books, but then I made my way to the recovery section and placed several in the titles for people who needed the most support.
I’m so ridiculously happy that it reached someone <3
