My only issue is that your friend who had heart surgery doesn't wear necklaces, does she not like her scar? I had heart surgery which left me with a very noticeable scar yet I still wear necklaces. I think my scar makes me beautiful and I wouldn't change any of it- it is my battle wounds and shows how much I've overcome. I hope your friend see's that her scar is beautiful, just like her, and its nothing to be ashamed of.
