Here’s what one employee (a man!) did when he discovered a ton of Operation Beautiful notes in a dressing room! Justin wrote, “I had never heard of Operation Beautiful before, but this past weekend well at my part time job at the mall, I was letting someone in to a fitting room to try clothes on. When I opened the door, the wall was covered in post it notes with inspirational writings like "You are Beautiful,” “You can be whoever you want to be", and so on. Instead of taking down the notes, I wouldn’t let anyone use the room and kept the door open so others could see and read them… It was definitely one of the coolest things I had ever seen! And it definitely brought a smile to my face.”

Janice wrote, “I am a Resident Advisor at my college and last Tuesday, I did an Operation Beautiful program for the residents of the hall. It was a great program and a lot of people turned out to learn about it. I couldn’t believe how many people came down just because they wanted to know what all the fuss was about! I can truly say Operation Beautiful has change my perception of myself and of others. I am telling more people they are beautiful just the way they are and my goal is not to get skinny, but to get healthy and fit. Thank you. Though I don’t have a truly inspiring story like many of the other wonderful girls who write in, I want everyone to know that Operation Beautiful truly changed my perceptions. Keep up the fantastic work.”
Tiff wrote, “I posted "Smile, you’re beautiful(:www.operationbeautiful.com" as my aim status. And a lot of my girl-friends Instant messaged me holding up a conversations like the one!”
Wolf Spirit wrote, “I stumbled upon Operation Beautiful and was absolutely amazed. This is such a wonderful thing that you’re all doing, and I was inspired. I stayed up all night making sticky notes that I posted in all of the girls’ bathrooms at my school the following afternoon.”
Liz wrote, “Just posted this note — it’s a quote from Neil Gaiman’s New Years benediction — in the bathroom at my favorite coffee shop.”
