Rachel, a teenager from New York, wrote, "I didn’t get to take a picture, but today me and my friend went to our huge New York mall and posted over 30 notes that said "You’re beautiful", "Don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself", "Every size is beautiful", and other inspirational sayings and posted them inside every store. When we went back later in the day, almost all of them were still there. Every person who passed by the notes saw them and smiled. Me and my friend are just teenagers who most adults would say were immature and bad kids without even knowing us. But, thank you for the opportunity to prove them wrong!"

Carol wrote, "I’m an American living in South Korea, a country where the obsession with being thin is even more intense than it is in the U.S. My friend helped me translate the Operation Beautiful message into Korean and I taped it onto the scale that is prominently displayed in the office. It felt great to take action instead of just to quietly internalize the negative messages about weight that I am surrounded by every day. Thank you for starting Operation Beautiful!"

Rachel wrote, "Ever since I stumbled across this site a week ago I have been leaving little notes everywhere. I finally had my camera with me yesterday so I got a picture of one. I left this note on the mirror in the bathroom at work where everyone always checks there makeup and touches up, etc."
