Tuesday Notes – July 14, 2009

"Where in the USA is Monica?"  Monica from Run, Eat, Repeat is taking a cross-country tour!  She is driving from California to Maryland from July 10 to July 17, and along the way, she will be spreading the Operation Beautiful love!  On Monday, she hinted that she is "Faithful to getting Operation Beautiful’s message to this place," and "we can thank Theodore Roosevelt for recognizing the beauty of this land."

If you guess that Monica was going to be in Yellowstone National Park, you were right!

Monica writes, "Yellowstone attracts millions visitors from all around the world each year. Here’s hoping many women on vacation had a little bit of a brighter day after reading these notes!   I left notes in campsite bathrooms – I thought this was a good idea because I know I don’t  feel pretty when I’ve been sleeping on the floor amongst bugs!"  She also left notes in the restrooms near the  Old Faithful geyser.

Now we are on the way to Destination #4:

1.       This place represents the first 150 of American history
2.       Monica is definitely in a Rush to get to this next stop!

Leslie wrote, "Since I am at home with the kiddos and not in "public" I stuck a few notes inside the mommies’ diaper bags…"

Terri has posted electronic notes all over.  She says, "I have posted a note on Facebook, Cafemom, and my blog about this.  I hope to keep spreading the word because this is a great mission!"

Heather wrote, "I taped this note to a scale at my gym today. I had the day from hell and was generally feeling down about some things, which can sometimes translate into "fat talk." Booo. Putting this on the scale made me smile and I hope someone else sees it and smiles as well. Your value is not based on a number!"

Leslie wrote, "This note was put up in the bathroom at my doctor’s office. I’m currently undergoing my 4th radiation treatment, and thought it would be a nice reminder for everyone who is in my shoes as well."

Anna wrote, "I have suffered from anorexia for thirteen years now.. and I am in recovery because I have accepted my personality to be my Beauty!  Here’s a little reminder for when I rise and shine:"

Michael posted these notes:

Tammy wrote, "This note was placed in a Janet Evanovich novel. I just returned the book to the library yesterday. I hope the recipient enjoys a little lift when they discover my post it note."
