What happens when a man find an Operation Beautiful note?  Well, they love it, too!  Ben wrote, “I was at work today and I found a note on a box of Rivita as I was filling the shelf that read: "You ARE beautiful."  It helped lighten my mood, and I left it there for everyone else to find as well!”

LR wrote, “I went on vacation recently, and my pad of Post-Its came along with me!  I posted notes on bathroom mirrors in the airport, on the plane, and in my hotel!”

Emily wrote, “I’m not the skinniest person and lately, especially today, I’ve been very down about it. At school and at home, everything seemed hopeless, lonely, and I was really sad. I just felt ugly and alone. And today I came across Operation Beautiful on Mystery Google. I read through it and felt worlds better!  You all saved me!  I now have the confidence to live my life because of you all… So thank you a thousand times!”

Brinean wrote, “In one of my classes for school, we had to create two collages: one for negative body image and on for positive body image.  On the positive  one, I decided to include operationbeautiful.com because of all the great work it does to end fat talk and help people see inner beauty is the most important!”

Ashleigh wrote, “You’ve probably seen me around Operation Beautiful before with notes on bathroom mirrors, leaving encouraging comments, or maybe even have found one of my notes.  I have been reading your posts now for a few months, and everyday I am so inspired by what I see. I look forward to seeing what you have to say, and it always puts a smile on my face. Thank you for taking time out of your day to make me smile.  I try to post at least three notes a day. I tell all my friends about this website, and the mission. Today however, was the first time I told a child about it. I have never seen her smile so bright as to when she told herself she IS beautiful! Today this mission changed a nine year old girl’s outlook on herself. It is so important that we not only view others with love and compassion, but ourselves.  To see a little girl gain this positive mind set before she is corrupted with negative media, was an incredible feeling.  I’m honored I was able to help her, and I’m so thankful for this website, and each and every one of you. Here is a video I made where you can see that smile Sara makes when she tells herself she is beautiful. I hope someone smiles by seeing or reading this, and remember, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!”

Cynni wrote, “I put this note in my library book. I hope it will make my fellow readers smile!”

I JUST READ SOMETHING TRULY INSPIRING! You HAVE to feature it!
it’s on london–rose.blogspot.com, the last question at the end of her current post. She reveals for the first time about her body dysmorphic disorder and it actually reduced to me to tears!

I’ve been really inspired by your viral movement. My California boutique is interested in changing the world through sharing stories about fashion.

Here at The Wardrobe, my mission statement has been for the last 22 years to reveal one’s truest self through fashion, color, and self-adornment.

I, too, am hoping to inspire a self-empowering movement related to beauty and how fashion can make a difference in our lives.

Check us out at ifourclothescouldtalk.com! I have created a short story contest to get people talking and thinking in new ways. It is my hope to inspire the collective imagination around the power of fashion.
