HAPPY DECEMBER!
Emma wrote, “I just discovered Operation Beautiful yesterday, and started writing sticky notes ASAP. I put one in a bathroom stall at a movie theater before I saw a movie, and after the movie, it was gone. I hope somebody took it for their own good, and smiled along the way.”
Shena, who is 12 years old and lives in Jakarta, Indonesia, sent in these notes:
Katie said, “I posted this on Facebook and tagged ALL the people I know!”
Mara wrote, “Operation Beautiful has encouraged me to leave notes in random place.”
Sherri wrote, “My friend Virginia (12 years old) is helping to spread the Operation Beautiful love! She bought a crimper to make her post it notes fancy and has been sticking notes up around her middle school. The other day she delivered a box of cookie dough (school fundraiser). When my husband opened the box there was a note about nourishment and being thankful!”

Linzi wrote, “It’s funny how easily we can talk ourselves into feeling bad about our body image. Some days I am so happy for my progress and others I am guilting about bad food choices. How I view myself is very important to how I am going to progress with my body goals & running goals. And that is why I wrote the note. I needed to get over the idea that a number on the scale is going to decide whether I am beautiful and happy or not. Because I realized that I am beautiful and no number is going to define me anymore.”
If you love Operation Beautiful and want to participate, post a note, take a picture, and e-mail it to Caitlin at seebriderun@gmail.com. Spread the love!
