A Message from Caitlin: Good morning. There are so many wonderful notes today from all over the world! Keep up the good work — spread the love! If you love Operation Beautiful, post a note, take a picture, and e-mail it to me at seebriderun@gmail.com.
Rach wrote, “I live in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. I saw a link to Operation Beautiful on Gives Me Hope ages ago, and I’ve been wanting to join in the movement, but we don’t seem to have any post it notes in our house! So, I went on MySpace last night and tagged all my contacts in these photos. Then, when I was at school today I saw a post-it on the wall outside the toilets with “I believe in you – operationbeautiful.com”. It made me feel SO good and so happy that Operation Beautiful has managed to reach other people in the little state of Tasmania (only 500,000 people live here), let alone someone at my very own school!”
Rita from Puerto Rico wrote, “I checked your site not so long ago and really liked the idea. I haven’t started posting my notes, but I will soon. This story, however, is about a note I found in a bathroom at college. She got the site address wrong, but that’s not really what matters, right?!”
Terra wrote, “My first message lightly attached to our communities’ mailbox. Thank you for the inspiration!”
Anisha wrote, “My friend and I went around the Santa Anita Mall in Arcadia, CA and wrote post-its that were encouraging in different clothing shops and self help books. I’ve always had problems with the way I look and that’s never going to change, but hearing that I’m beautiful from someone else would brighten my day. I really love this cause. It shows me that there are good people in this world and time.”
Laikyn wrote, “Ever since I heard about Operation Beautiful, I’ve been inspired! I literally carry around four pads of post-its and I put an Operation Beautiful note everywhere I go. I love it and I love being able to show other girls that they are beautiful no matter what. We’re God’s masterpieces, so we HAVE to be beautiful!”
Erin wrote, “Last night my best friend noticed one of the many quotes that I have written on my mirror. The one she noticed was a quote that I got from Operation Beautiful. She read it and instantly started smiling. I have been trying to convince her for a long time that she is beautiful and she never would believe me. I think that the quote finally helped her see that I was telling the truth. So again, I want say thanks!!! This site is TRULY amazing!”
Jessica wrote, “I saw Operation Beautiful a few weeks ago, and decided to join. I posted this note, in a booth at a restaurant near my house. I walked in a few days ago, and noticed that someone else had written a note, and placed it beside mine. It made me smile, knowing that someone hadn’t ripped it down!”

Angel wrote, “I, like most females, have experienced my “ugly” days, and feeling beautiful is one of the best things in the world! I went to Kohl’s today with my mom, and I slipped into the dressing rooms, because that is one of the worst places to be on a “ugly day”. I posted three notes into three separate fitting stalls so that when a lady or young girl try on something that doesn’t feel quite right or is a little too tight, they can look at the yellow post-it and realize that size is just a number and that they are beautiful just the way they are. If I had seen one of those notes on a day when confidence was at an all time low, I would just be touched deeply. I realize Operation Beautiful is a promise of acceptance and beauty. One that only can be given by yourself to yourself. Beauty is in many shapes, colors, and sizes!”
Have a BEAUTIFUL day!
