For Once and For All gave the Operation Beautiful book to her sister and taped this message on the inside flap!
Lindsey wrote, “This site has not only inspired me to stop "fat talking," but I am on a mission to encourage others to do the same thing. I have the feeling this is something revolutionary, and it’s exactly what this world needs! Today I took the first step in my Operation Beautiful journey by buying the book and posting my first 3 notes around the bookstore. I seriously felt a weight lifted off my shoulders as I walked out of the bookstore, which has inspired me to continue in doing this.”
Britany wrote, “I went shopping on my lunch break. Each time I tried something on, I just looked at myself with my lip curled up. Needless to say, I left empty-handed. I think Operation Beautiful is so great and can really hurt people, so I also left post-it notes on the mirrors of the two dressing rooms I used.”
BJ wrote, “Just found one of these notes today in a washroom at Walmart. I was feeling so down about myself and my body …. just really bad … this little note cheered me up and I believe it was just what was meant to be! Thanks to whoever left it … and maybe now I will do the same thing for someone else!”

One of those notes (with a little link to the site) really cheered me up, and since I started leaving those notes and helping people in peer counseling, I’ve been getting better grades, better sleep, and overall just feeling better. In a way, this turned my life around!”

So good to see all the notes! I have been posting away here on my small little island. Passing the word along. In no time Operation Beautiful will be plastered across the entire island!
