Did YOU post this note? Michelle wrote, “I was SOOO super excited today because for the first time, I saw an Operation Beautiful note out in public. I didn’t have my camera, or I would have taken a photo. It was on the Larabar display at Trader Joe’s in Kettering, Ohio.”
Leslie wrote, “I am 30 years old and over the weekend I celebrated my third anniversary in recovery from anorexia. For the longest time mirrors were my enemy because I was never satisfied with my body, my life, my emotions, etc. Now with a healthy outlook and healthy body, I wanted to help other women celebrate their forms and their inner beauty. Thanks to Operation Beautiful I put a post-it in my office bathroom, which has a pretty terrible mirror. I will always look at that mirror now and think ‘I am beautiful!’”
Hannah wrote, “As a two time cancer survivor I know how it feels to feel just ugly, when I lost my hair and gained weight due to a tumor on my pituitary gland in my brain I just felt terrible about myself. I am now officially exactly one year and 3 months in remission and feel awesome. I am allowed to work out again and I am currently training for my second marathon! I leave little notes around quite often, it makes me feel better about myself while doing so!”
Sam wrote, “I posted this at a speech and debate tournament- I hope it helped take away some nervousness!”
H wrote, “I posted this on a scale at the gym to remind everyone that they are beautiful. Many women think you must be a size 0 to be beautiful – not true!”
If you love Operation Beautiful and want to participate, post a note, take a picture, and e-mail it to Caitlin at seebriderun@gmail.com. Spread the love!

Hey, me and my friends love this site. We have posted “You Are Beautiful” note in all the girls washrooms in our school. we also placed them at the swimming pool and Dairy Queen. Because of your site my friend and I made a site of our own. We write about how to help your self feel better in all situations. My friends and I have all been through traumatic experiences and thought we could have an shout to others as well. Your website has been an inspiration to us thank you
