I’m kinda sad that it’s a girls thing. I’m sure more women are insecure (while they shouldn’t) about the way they look, but there are men out there too.
It’s just, different I guess, for men. Don’t think the messages will work the same with them.
men are more than welcome to participate! we’ve had lots of men leave notes on bus stops, in gyms, and in the grocery store. you can write your favorite quote or another inspirational phrase.
I was in the bathroom thinking about how much weight I needed to lose, and then I saw a note on the mirror telling me that I am beautiful just the way I am. This really made my day, and I am going to spread the love!
THIS IS GREAT!!! i learnt about it through real magazine’s blog and automatically got straight to it. i left sticky notes around school,,, and am going to do more all the time,, its like an adventure, trying not to get caught. i love how i can brighten random peoples day! its awesome!
I LOVE this!! There were some of these notes in the girls bathroom at my high school today and they made my day! This is AMAZING and so true! This really made me feel better about myself. Thanks!
I think this is amazing!! When i was younger i always hated my body and always thought i needed to be thinner to be likes and loved this site would have help me alot back then. But i found out on my own that i was BEAUTIFUL! but now i wanna help other girls who are not strong enough to know on their own beauty is all different shapes and sizes. This site WILL make a diffeence.. and i wanna be apart of that!
Smile back at your self in the mirror.. Because you are amazing and beautiful!
wow, this is just amazing, ive always thought of myself as being to big, and comparing myself to others, but seeing this makes feel way more confident in myself. when i go back to school on monday im putting notes all over the school, so every girl can know how truely amazing they are.

I love this… I mean this has me teary eyed because this is one of the BEST acts of anything tht I have seen this year! This movement in itself is BEAUTIFUL!… I’m so glad that young women are encouraging others to LOVE THEMSELVES!! You are beautiful, one of a kind, and THATS what makes you SO UNIQUE! … This all just leads me to a song, Angie Stone- Happy Being Me! Thank you again for being such an inspiration to ladies, shucks, even guys everywhere!
This is amazing, i am deffinately going to start doing it! one little comment from me probably wont seem significant with the tons of others but i thaught id comment anyway just to add to it all andhelp show how amazing this really is, you must be such an awesome person x
I live in a neighborhood by an area with a lot of public stores and resturants. I’m walking to Walmart tomorrow, and buying a Sharpie and Post-Its for those bathrooms, and all the women in the world. I found a Post-It today at my high school. I had to leave it up for everyone else. It’s time for us to fight back against people calling each other ugly!
I haven’t seen any of these notes where I am, but I’m willing to change that. I’m only a teenager but I’m hoping to change peoples’ minds about themselves once i start posting notes everywhere!

I have posted sticky-notes and hope to spread the truth further! that all girls no matter what they look like, ARE BEAUTIFUL!!
I’ve been feeling so down lately… I was considering suiside. Because I thought I was the ugliest person in the entire world, I hated going shopping and bought clothes too big to wear. Then my friend sent me this and I realised that people have it much worse than me, and it made me smile and think about all the good things in life.
Thanks so much. I am now starting to write notes everywhere, it’s such a good idea.

I’m in grade nine and right now I’ve been suffering from depression for nine years and I am sucidal. This site changes my life today and made it worth roughing out for at least another day. In March my grade is going to Europe we’re there for 19 days and are going to 10 countries and guess who’s bringing a carry-on full of sticky notes and writing untensils, me! I need to share this with everyone as it might change their lives too! I got to go buy some more sticky notes today but have a great day and keep smiling!!
I found this yesterday and I spent most of my night making cards to put in random girls’ lockers, I’m up to 67 or 68 plus a few post it notes. A bunch of my friends on facebook are doing it too now. Take that low self-esteem!
I Have No Idea How But This Website Made My Whole Day Better I Still Kinda Don’t Think Great About Myself But It Takes Time But I DO FEAL WAY BETTER!!!
Ive allways thought ‘Oh im so fat’ and stuff but after I found this site it atchually made me feel better about myself (:
I shall be finding my self sticking some of these wonderful notes around my school xxx
I just came across this website today and I can’t express how I amazing I feel about this mission.. I’ve always been terribly hard on myself for the way I look and comparing myself to other girls here at college. But watching those videos really touched my heart.. I’m so motivated and moved by it! I’ve written out my own notes and ready to post them all over campus! Thank you SO much!
I don’t select the ads that run on the side of the blog. It’s a randomly generated thing through the BlogHer ad network. There’s nothing wrong with using make-up – it’s just that you shouldn’t use it to hide who you really are or make you into something you’re not. (That’s just my opinion.) That’s like saying that to be feminists, we should all run around with hairy legs and no bras.
this video has really made me think about myself! i am not fat, but people say i am to thin and it scares me! after i saw this , it made me look in the mirror and realy look! i saw a really pretty girl! i saw…me! this video has helped everyone! we have posts in the locker room at gym and in the bathrooms in our middle school! i just wanted to say thank you, without all this i would consider my self ugly and wayyy to thin!———————————–thanks for all the help
You are amazing!!!!
My sister just told me about this, and it was so great! what a boost! Keep it up, lovely ladies (and a few great men, I’m sure!!!)!!!!!!

Only a week ago, I was stratching at my wrists, over exercising, and crying so many nights in a row.
Now, just by writing these, I am dancing around, and smiling so much more.
If my many (over 100 by now, just these two past days.) post its don’t help someone else, they have certainly helped me.
THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I have never been happier in all of my life.

Does anyone else think it’s ironic that there is a make-up ad on the side of this page?

Me niether, I foubd out about this from gaiaonline.com. They have a whole thread JUST FOR THIS!
Wow! That’s great!
My dad tracks bills on where’sgeorge.com. Now I’m thinking of stealing them and writing “You are Beautiful” on them, like someone did in the video! I’m starting right now! Just got paid for shoveling snow! Let the LOVE begin!
The first video was more “in your face” with all the horrifying statistics. The second video was more upbeat and showsyou how to spread the message.
Good Morning everyone! You are all beautiful, even if you have bedhead and haven’t had your coffee yet!
I found out about this and spread it throughout my Facebook and Myspace. It has such a positive message! Thank you
