Alot of the other girls at my school are convinced they are fat and ugly. They go around complaining so evryone will reasure them that they are pretty. This is what alot of conversations sound like at my school “I’m sooooo fat!” “No way! your so pretty!” “Stop lying to me!” “You are really skinny!” “Whatever.” I am going to post notes on my teachers doors and in the girls bathroom at my school. I hope other girls will be inspired to do this too. :)

i am going to start doing this. this is something i see so much everywhere all the time. women don’t understand how beautiful they are. i see people with these messages “you are beautiful” in their mirrors. i am going to start spreading this. it actually goes really well with a project i have going on, i am doing a photo series of public washrooms. this will bring a whole different chapter.
i’m so excited about this!!

Hi Caitlin,
Not only do the notes improve the self esteem of the person receiving it, but also lifts the spirits of the persons writing and leaving them.
What a wonderful way to teach people to love each other and themselves in such a simple but beautiful way. (I used to put note in my older daughters lunch every day just like this because she was picked on at school.
Caitlin…YOU are beautiful…THANK YOU. (My 1st visit here today as my daughter got a note at school).
Hugs to you.

This is so inspiring. Many girls at my school are going to start putting up post-its everywhere starting tomorrow, and even some guys want to pitch in! People, girls especially, need to stop worrying about how they look. We only have one chance at life, and we need to use it to LIVE, not worry. Thank you for coming up with such a great idea :)

wonderful concept and one which i’ll start practicing…im my mid thrities and only just understanding that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, including my own plus size frame. If only such a concept was around when i was a teenager instead of well meaning but destructive comments about diet and size, i may not have wasted so many years being miserable!
will start posting immediately!

One day at a dance, people were calling me fat. I ran to the bathroom, crying so much that I ran into the door. Hearing girls laughing behind, I race into a stall and stay there for about ten minutes, to afraid to come out. Finally, when I thought I had cried myself out, I walked out of the bathroom and splashed my face with water. On the mirror was a note: Honey, stand up for yourself. You are BEAUTIFUL! http://www.operationbeautiful.com” I took this note down, and it has changed my whole life. THANK YOU!

I found this movement today and I can’t tell you ladies enough what perfect timing it has been. I have been so down lately, and after witnessing all of the beautiful girls who go out of their way to make people like me smile and feel good about themselves I couldn’t help but be happy again. Thank you all so much. I will be posting notes everywhere I go. I want to share this great feeling with as many women as possible. Thank you all so much. You are all beautiful <3

I found this website on GivesMeHope.com and found it beautiful that there are so many women out to stop negative body image. I have struggled with my weight my whole life and almost killed myself. But someone, like everyone on this crusade, stopped me and made me realize that I’m beautiful the way I am. I thank God everyday for people like you who saved my life and thousands like me. Thank you so much!
