Thanks you so much for sharing this with us!. I feel so much relief. I over train sometimes, I push myself too far, and is just because I want to be superwoman and I want and need to show myself how strong I am. Sometimes we forgot that our body needs a little rest and peace. Is good to be fit but in a balance way as everything in life ...BALANCE. I don't want to hurt the most great, special and beautiful thing God gave me that is my body, I live inside of it, I'm on charge to protect it. The ego gets into the way.
Thanks for helping me to remember to be more gentle, more patience and loving with me.
Blessing and Good luck!

Thanks so much for this post! I can totally relate, as I recently suffered a pelvic stress fracture while training for a marathon (right after finishing my first half-marathon, and while playing on a kickball league for the first time). Refraining from running for those 2+ months was extremely difficult, but it also enabled me to take a look at my life and what I was really doing to myself (I blogged about it here: http://leeanned.blogspot.com/2010/02/rehabbing-soul.html). Thanks for sharing your story, and for your wonderful advice!
