Emma wrote, “I just wanted to express how hopeful Operation Beautiful made me. During dance class at school, I had to go to the bathroom and on the stall door was a sticky note saying "you are beautiful…operationbeautiful.com" When I logged on to the site…and read all the powerful stories and looked at the pictures, I literally started to cry. It’s so great to see women finally coming together and realizing we are who we are – we are strong. Thank you so, so much!”
Keely said, “I discovered this website through a forum, and began spreading the word to a few friends. Today, we have posted 10 post-it notes. And another friend is roping in some people to go round and do it with her. If out of all the post-it notes we put up, we make one person smile – it’ll be well worth it!!”
Nate and his wife, Kate, stayed in a hotel in Europe that had these mirrors in the bathroom. They said it reminded them of Operation Beautiful!

Jada wrote, “I think everyone should feel beautiful because they are. I promptly made a sign to put in the bathroom of my dorm. I hope the girls on my floor will be inspired by it. I plan to slowly, but surely put them in all the bathrooms in my dorm and maybe even around campus if I can!”

Jess wrote, “The other day I was reading a blog from a friend. It was about Operation Beautiful. I had never heard of it and was very curious. As I was looking through the website reading all the post-its, I realized how much just that little note can make someone’s day. I noticed the car parked next to me in the college parking lot and the person sitting in it. She looked tired, sad, and just overall like she was having a bad day. As she started walking on to the campus. I slipped the note on her window. A couple hours later when class was over I got back into my car and sat in it while waiting to leave. And then I saw the same girl coming back to her car. When I saw the smile on her face, I knew that it was totally worth it.”
