Michelle said, “I read about Operation Beautiful on a knitting website where a user posted a virtual post it! After reading about it, I decided to do my own bit of posting. One day I was in the lift at work and decided to post a note on the buttons, hoping someone worthy saw it. Imagine my surprise yesterday when, arriving for work and waiting for the elevator in the lobby, I spot my note stuck inside the guard post cabinet!!! He loved my note and kept it!! Well, I was aiming for a woman but I guess a man will do to!”
Alicia posted this note in the bathroom:
Rose said, “I put up these notes in the some changing rooms, and a few in bathrooms that I didn’t have time to photograph because other people came in. I’m kind of dying to get back and see if they’re still there! It was really exciting and even if i brightened up just one person’s day it was totally worth it.”
Rosemary said, “I had to wait in the bathrooms and be late to class to put this one up!” The note says, “You’re never fully dressed without a smile – Put on the beautiful one that you have!”
Ashley wrote, “I hope they made it into the hands of someone who needed them and inspired them to start their own mission. Operation Beautiful has been a godsend and at times, a life saver for me.” She put these positive messages into circulation:
