Send your own Operation Beautiful Note to Caitlin at seebriderun@gmail.com, and it will be posted on the site. If you have a blog, be sure to include a link! It takes about three weeks for a photograph to show up on the site, so be patient!
Write a motivating note on a post it and put it up in a public place– such as on a bathroom mirror, in the gym locker room, or even on a random car’s windshield. If you want, you can write the web address www.OperationBeautiful.com on the bottom so other women can find the site!
If you send me your photo, it becomes the property of Operation Beautiful and may be used on the site or in other media.
PLEASE RESPECT THE OPERATION BEAUTIFUL TRADEMARK. For legal reasons, Operation Beautiful cannot endorse other sites that are "Chapters" of Operation Beautiful. Thank you.

i saw this note today all over school in the bathrooms and under tables and i think whoever is doing this is making a big difference in teens and younger kids! it especially made me think twice about myself with all the drama between friends and boys so i just wanted to say thank you:)
this is a really great thing u do. keep up the good work.
Me and my friend posted them all over Manhattan: Greenwich Village and the East Village. And someone wrote THANK YOU. Made my life.
hey girls….
I have to make a presentation at school and I think this site will be my topic. =)
this is great…
I’m a 14 year-old girl with serve depression. I’m always down on myself. The rumors are getting to me and i cant see myself as beautiful anymore. I’m nothing, but a pathetic retard. This project is amazing and thank you. You’re helping so many teen girls like me. So many girls who cant even look at themselves without being ashamed about who they are. Young teens like me.
Hey Yolanda,
I have a friend who suffered from depression and cutting. I didnt even know about it for the first year of our friendship. Then one day, she wrote me a note telling me how grateful she was to have me to talk to. Not even about her depression, but just every day things.
ahh i didnt mean to hit enter sorry, but my point was this: if you have a friend who is a good listener, just start talking about every day random things. Friends heal more than doctors.
I’ve been through the same exact thing.
In fact, I’m still going through it.
I’m very down on myself, and don’t see myself as pretty either.
I found this website today while looking through GMH.
I just finished writing my thirteenth sticky note.
Hey, gals! I have days and times and years when I hate how I look, too. I just want to tell you that even though I probably have never seen you, I know you are amazing and beautiful and strong, because you admitted to feeling down about yourself. That’s often the first step to healing. I second what Madeline said about talking to friends: they won’t usually have a psychology degree, but they know what life is all about. and life is about loving yourself. So keep up the good thoughts. Life gets better as your attitude improves. Love ya, you lovely ladies!
Tomorrow i’m headed to the cinema and i’m bringing a pad of sticky notes and a pen and believe me i’m gonna put a note on every mirror i see.
Hey Caitlin, THANKS SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS WEB-SITE. I would usually just put myself down and tell myself im not pretty, but i walked into the girls bathroom the other day and saw a note that said….”YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL JUST THE WAY YOU ARE”….and then i realized that im not so bad after all.:)
Caitlin you are BEAUTIFUL!!!
Last week I noticed a note in the bathroom stall that simply said “YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL.” Two days later, I found another note that said the same thing. I thought it was a nice thing to write to people, so I began to do it too. I just now came across this website while randomly browsing the internet. Everything makes sense now. This is a wonderful idea
I thank you for the website and for the mission that many girls are participating on and i thank all of you. There was a time I felt Unbeautiful and became bulimic. My girlfriends help me realize that how much you weigh doesn’t matter .
There are some girls who do not have the voice that says “you are beautiful” and we need to be that voice for them.
I just found you through Winn Claybaugh’s site…THANK YOU !!!!!!!! I will share your message… starting with my own daughter’s….xoxoxoxoxoxoxo thank you xoxoxox
After reading this ;
I am starting a revolution at my school
as soon as I get back from Christmas break!

Loads of fun!!
I can’t wait to go back to school now. We have 20 minutes to do whatever before home room. I got a pack of sticky notes for Christmas, so I am going to go around on all the girls bathroom mirrors and post sticky notes saying:
“Look in the mirror, what do you see? The mirror sees someone who’s beautiful. ~operationbeautiful.com”
Maybe I will hang-out there for a while and see different girls’ reactions(;
I’ve been over weight my whole life.
I am now 16 years old and I weigh more then the average an adult male.
I get teased and picked on all the time. I have now
come to the point where I accept what people say about me, because I’ve heard it enough times and think, maybe they are right.
It’s hard to be an over weight teenager.
Especially in high school, these are suppose to be the best years of my life.
My size has effected me negatively on so many levels. I feel I don’t deserve the finer things in life, I have given up on relationships, and I can’t participate in some activities my friends want to do.
I think I need a little more help then operationbeautiful. But this really is a beautiful idea which I’m sure will help many people.

I LOVE THIS SITE!!!!!!
(((((((((((((((===============
this website is truly inspiring! i love the idea! i know that it would be a very kind gesture to me, to find one of these notes. & i think many others think the same. i’m not overweight, but i’m not the “average size” for my age group. i’ve struggled with self-confidence issues my whole life, & i even have a ridculous fear of being seen in a swimsuit.
this website has made a HUGE impact on the way i see myself, & the way i respect myself.
it reminds me that we are all beautiful, wither you be overweight, average, or underweight. God has made us all the way we are, for a certain purpose. he put us all here, because we have to live for him, & with confidence, this simple task is easily accomplished. i beleive in you all, & am praying for anyone & everyone who struggles with “fat talk”, or beleive he/she is not beautiful. God bless you all this Holiday season!
I saw one of these at a rest stop on vacation during the summer and it made my day. people dont realize how much one little comment effects someone.
this amazes me, all the pple it has helped! I am definitely doing this in my school! People need it so much, the way the world is right now.
This is a great idea. I am so doing this in my school!
God Bless
I got a message/mission on Mystery Google and it made my day. This program is amazing; I will definitely do this at my school.
I live in Cairns Australia.
I have decided that this is a great way to boost beautiful womens self confidence .
I take 20 post-its with me everyday and stick them around the city . I like to think that it makes a difference in somebodys day .
Remember pretty ladies
YOU ARE BEAUTIFULL
xoxox
This is so far one of the best ideas I’ve seen, it’s so true that the smallest, simplest compliment can make your entire day & make you feel so good about yourself. I’m 15 years old, and have gone through so much secretly battling Anorexia for the past 3 years, and it’s small inspirational messages like these that keep me moving forward towards a brighter future. I’ll be posting these all around the city tomorrow, hope it brightens somebody’s day. Thankyou so much for creating this site, love leeina.
Leeina…you’re beautiful…the way that you write and express yourself at 15 is alone amazing and you’ve got to be beautiful if think that way…You’re gorgeous hun…keep on pushing
i have been reading all of these post &&+ i am really touched.. i feel so much better about myself.
this is an amazing web site. (:
about 10 mins ago i put a pack of post it notes in my purse. so now when i go to school or out in public i can put them up and spread the word (:
What your doing is absoloutely amazing. It’s inspired me to help others out and make people feel good about themselves. You’ve also changed my perspective on others. Thank you so much for helping me accpet myself. I finally feel beautiful. Starting tomorrow, I’m making sticky notes to post around my school and other places.
Omg what a brilliant idea. I am from Australia and a friend stumbled on this site today by accident her and I are now promoting the site all over our facebooks and are going to our local city center this week armed with post it notes and hope to start the movement in our little town. Australia so needs something like this body image and lack of confidence is sadly a huge thing not only in America but on a worldwide scale…MY FRIENDS AND I HOPE TO CHANGE THAT AT LEAST IN AUSTRALIA! THANX SO MUCH FOR SUCH AN AMAZING SITE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
I discovered this website while reading someones blog, and the moment i found what the purpose for it was i immediately felt a little better inside about myself and will be definitely being putting post-it notes everywhere I go to let people know its okay to be you

I think this is brilliant.
I was having a really bad day today, and today is the day I discovered this website. I went to the bathroom, thinking, I look and feel like crap, I just wnat to go home and sleep. Then I saw a soaked paper in the sink, knowing me, got curious and picked it up to read it. Turns out it was someone who had already found this website and left a note. It said “If you feel like crap today, look at yourself and say, I’m beautiful, and it will lift your mood. You ARE beautiful, and don’t ever forget that.”
It changed my views on myself. I was astonished that a simple note from a stranger could do such a thing, so later today, I went to Subway, and left 3 of these on the mirror. Hopefully someone will get out of them what I got out of the one I read. I am definitely going to put these all over, in hopes of making people feel better about themselves.
I’ve recently been going through a hard time. I’m very shy and it’s difficult for me to make friends. It’s led to being depressed and thinking I’m not worth it, or not pretty enough to have a lot of friends. Today at school, I found a sticky note with operation beautiful on it. Thank you so much for creating an organization to let girls know that they are beautiful, this really made my day.

I came across this website a couple of weeks ago, and I will be bringing this idea up next time my youth group meets. I think it’s a wonderful idea, and I am so excited to share it with the rest of my friends and get started on our project.
wow i seen this on a wedsite saying to come here i had to check it out and im a teenage girl so im going to have the ups and downs and days i dont like the way i look or feel bad about my self but this helped me a lot thank yall so much
this website could literally save lives. if someone was feeling suicidal or whatever, if they saw one of tese somewhere if could make them happy. if more people were told they were beautiful all the time, the world would be a better place
you guys are, sending such a great message, keep it up!! Also you should create widgets with different “post-its” on them so people can spread the message on their blogs, facebook, and other sites
Hey everyone,
This website is incredible. First thing I’m doing tomorrow is going out and buying sticky notes so I can completely change someone’s perspective on themselves. All women and girls are beautiful in their own way! God gave you your features, accept them and love them!
~Chandler, 13 years old
you are so right! girls are beautiful in there own way. no matter the day or what they put on they are beautiful. we are all his image and shouldn’t be afraid of our features!:)
I found this site, out of the blue. I’m half alseep, but will revist when I’m more awake.
I’m one of the people who this website is aimed at, however much people argue with me, I cannot myself, see that I am ‘not fat’ and am ‘pretty’.
I think this is a wonderful idea.
I’m going to join in. I’m going to put them on the mirrors in my college’s bathrooms. And the mirrors at my gym.
Seriously, well done.
This is such a beautiful website and an amazing idea. My friends and I are going to stick some around school, and this weekend, around the town. I can’t wait!
I live in the UAE (check google if you don’t know where it is. I’d never heard of it when i moved here) so, operationbeautiful, get ready to go international.
And remember, you ARE beautiful.
United Arab Emirates? Thats so cool this is going international. This is such an awesome idea!
A few of my friends and I are dropping a you are beautiful card in every locker in the locker room at the YMCA and my school. I had done it earlier and one of the girls who saw me put a card in a locker had gotten one earlier, she thanked me and gave me a hug. I kind of like being the anonymous girl who makes others smile, it shows just how much we can do for each other.
This site is so wonderful (:
I’m most definately going to start this through my school. In our bathrooms its just full of cruel comments scribbled in pen about people. I don’t know if people will actually take it seriously, because the girls in my school are fairly bitchy, but i’ll give it a go and try enlighten someones day (:
Thank you (:
