Write a motivating note on a post it and put it up in a public place– such as on a bathroom mirror, in the gym locker room, or even on a random car’s windshield. If you want, you can write the web address www.OperationBeautiful.com on the bottom so other women can find the site!

I was in a bathroom at my high school (the handicap stall). I went up to the sink and mirror to fix my hair-until I saw a tiny purple Post-It that read: “Stop fussing. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!
OperationBeautiful.com”. I’m ususally insecure because of what my friends say. But it just made my day, and made all my problems go away. 
To whoever put it on that mirror, thank you!

i did my hair nicely today and when i saw this note i thought yeahhh i do look pretty hot today:) so these notes should be put EVERYWHERE so women and girls can feel brilliant whatever their shape or size!!!!
he other day i was at my high school haveing a mizerable day and feeling horable abot myself.then on the back of the girls bathroom door was a stiky note that said smile keep your head high ur just as beautiful as the sky…then when i walked out the bathroom i realized the rain hade stoped and in its place was a rainbow…so it made my day and now im leaving sticky notes 4 other girls to find them…<333 :]
sometimes i have crapy days at school. and always my friends, including my guy friends. always find away to brighten my day. i get an occasional note in my locker but i never know who it is! which makes my days soo much better! <3 (:
i was having a horrible day, so i went to the washroom stall becuase i was crying, just to find a note that said “be who you are, becuase you’re beautiful!” that just made my day that much brighter, thankks

I went into the bathroom at school today and when I went up to the sink to wash my hands, I looked up into the mirror and then I noticed a few notes posted around saying stuff like “OMGSH you are so gorgeous!” and I can’t tell you how much of a difference it made- it completely turned my day around. Whoever posted the notes at NCCC, thank you. It’s amazing how much something that small can affect you. I ended up buying a package of Post-It’s and I will be sure to pass on the good word. =D

I found som posted all over the bathroom at school. I was having a really miserable day, I was being teased and messed with for my size, and about how I’m not preety, and getting pimples. And it was just horrible day all together. And whe I found these, it really made me smile. It brightened my day so much. Thank you to who posted them. I appreciate it.

I work in a department store and these post it notes were every where. It’s a cute idea, but please people… it’s the holiday season in retail, don’t put a million of these thing everywhere. Someone has to clean it up, and they’re already busy enough.

I come to this website every time I need a pick me up and feel bad about my self esteem. But I came up with a REALLY good idea, I have a presentation in my College Communications course about media’s influence on self esteem and I want to include Operation Beautiful on the “FIGHT BACK” part of it. Hopefully other people in my class will start fighting back against negative body image along with us! I thought it was a good idea because I have people from all over who will be going home for the holidays, so we will be able to spread the word all over Ontario Canada as well
so I was bored during science one day and I decided to write “you are beautiful” on the desk, hoping to make someone smile. by the next class, I’d totally forgotten about it. when I cleared some papers off of my desk, I realized that people had added to my note. someone wrote “you too!” and another had said “no matter what you say”. it made me smile, and I hope it made someone else happy, too.
there is a post it note stuck on the ceiling of that same classroom that says “smile”. needless to say, when I looked at it, I couldn’t help but smile.
this is beautiful! really brings back a smile on our faces

I found a note today in my order book at work. It was found in my section of the grocery store that I work at and someone slipped into my binder. It really mad me smile! i really needed to hear that! I vow to pass it on

I love this website and the whole idea of it all, and how people actually go on and post random notes like this to make peoples day.
I actually found my first note from somebody, linking to this website in a girls toilet today, stuck up on the door… it read “Your imperfection is part of your power! – NYx (house of nightseries book 4 – untamed) http://www.operationbeautiul.com” – with a little heart next to it. I really want to know what the reference (the book) was for.
It made me feel lovely all day!

I work at walmart, and the customers there are always mean. So I was in a bad mood yesterday feeling really crummy and when I got back to my department (makeup) I found an orange post it that said “Smile! You look amazing like that!” It made me smile. I forgot about how upset I was and for the rest of the day felt good. THANK YOU MYSTERIOUS PERSON WHO POSTED IT!
i cant wait to start this @ my christian school. everyone but me in 8th grade is dieting, even some guys. other than me, but thats a diffrent story. but our christian girls are sooooo self absorbed and get hooked on the fake look of mag’s so i think this’l be great!!!

Ive lived with an eating disorder my whole life, and today i came across this website in a myspace bulletin. After reading everything…all I can think is maybe im not that bad after all and just maybe theres beauty in me. This made my night and just amazed me that total strangers would create this just to help. Im starting operation beautiful first thing in the morning

My 16 year old daughter came home from school today and couldn’t wait to show me sticky note she found on a mirror in one of the bathrooms. It said “Don’t let this mirror define you. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL AS YOU ARE.” She took a picture of it and put made it the wallpaper for the computer. What you are doing here is outstanding and real step in the right direction toward teaching young woman to be accepting of who they are and how they look. Thank you Caitlin.
Today was our college’s last day of finals. Found a sticky on the bathroom mirror that read: “You are loved, you beautiful girl! <3" Really made me smile, so I had to visit the website. When school starts back up again in January I may just have to put up some of my own. Beautiful idea. Thanks!
