Send your own Operation Beautiful Note to Caitlin at OperationBeautiful@gmail.com, and it will be posted on the site. If you have a blog, be sure to include a link! It takes about three weeks for a photograph to show up on the site, so be patient!
Write a motivating note on a post it and put it up in a public place– such as on a bathroom mirror, in the gym locker room, or even on a random car’s windshield. If you want, you can write the web address www.OperationBeautiful.com on the bottom so other women can find the site!
If you send me your photo, it becomes the property of Operation Beautiful and may be used on the site or in other media.
PLEASE RESPECT THE OPERATION BEAUTIFUL TRADEMARK. For legal reasons, Operation Beautiful cannot endorse other sites that are "Chapters" of Operation Beautiful. Thank you.

Yeah so I just went to mysteryseeker (the new mystery google) and I but in the message “Smile someone thinks you are beautiful
” I hope that people really feel that way now
Today, i just broke up with my boyfriend. It was an online relationship, and my friend told me that it was dangerous, so I told my boyfriend that I think we should break up. For his safety, for MY safety. I was really down in the dumps and my friend told me about this website named “OperationBeautiful.com” I decided to check it out, and when I started to look at it and check out some of the things, I fell in love with the whole idea about writing something inspiring and putting it in a bathroom or something. I am going to start carrying around my sticky notes and a marker, and do the exact same thing. I noticed that my life isnt over and that If God put me to it, he can get me through it.
God Bless Everyone!
I spent all day being mad at myself for overeating, but then I remembered that I’m beautiful no matter how I look. I immediately thought to come here and remind myself of how amazing I feel when I make others happy. Caitlin, what you’re doing is seriously changing the world!!
people like YOU are responsible for the awesomeness that is OB!
post a note and send it to me! I’ll put it up on the site!
thank you!

okay so the other day i walked into the bathroom in school nd on the mirror it said smile your beautiful in lipstick…
so, i had a lot of fun at the superchick concert! ive been through a lot in my life nd i got into a lot of trouble. just latley i found god. i didnt realize how much worse my life was until i found god nd grew a closer relationship with my father. my real blood related father lost a lot of trust in me, because no matter where i would go, trouble was caused… so i then thought i had to grow up nd learn how to respect people and be a better person. now i cant go three days without seeing my dad, nor most of the rest of my family.
God is love,
-bryce kaitlyn kerstetter
I saw a sticky note on the mirror of the public restroom, in my hotel. Wow, It totally made my day
Ever since I have been posting about that note (: Just goes to show how such a small piece of pink paper can create such a difference.
Lovely! Send me photos of the notes you post and I’ll put them online!
I was in a fight with my little sister cause I wnated to stay at the Saddlebrook Community Center but she didn’t cause she didn’t have any friends and I just broke down so I ran to the bathroom and we worked everything out and I saw a note on the mirror when we walked out and i read it. I have a lot of people call me fat or ugly so that really boosted my confidence because we were yelling at each other in a public place and a lot of people heard and I was humilliated and that note really bosted my mood cause people say my est feature is my smile. So whoever posted the note in the Saddlebrook Community Center thanks alot.
Here is what the note said in the Saddlebrook Community Center bathroom You Look Beautiful When You Smile.
I have been stuck in a rut for the last 3 years after losing just about everything in a downward spiral of events. First lost my fiance (5 year relationship) to infidelity. then my job and my license due to a DUI I got in a fit of carelessness and depression. failed a semester then dropped out of college. had to move home leaving the city that held the keys to my lifelong passion of music. and have been here for the last 3 years in a pretty deep depression. I turned 30 last week and have been trying to seek out the strength and motivation to find my way back to life and use this new decade as a jumping off point. Today I went to Barnes and Nobles with a friend and we were looking in the self help section and I came across this post it that read “you are absolutely beautiful” and the websites address. Since I got home I have made a to do list that makes it look like in about 12 months or maybe less… I can be back in that city that holds my heart living life again and fulfilling my dreams. The post it was the final push I needed. Thank you to the beautiful soul that left that post it for me. and thank you for starting this cause. I think it changed my life! <3
My friend Kathleen Bourrée sent this to me. Caitlin, I think YOU’RE an AMAZING WOMAN, too!

About three months ago, Paula Roberts and Lisa Cabrelli participated in a Flash Mob Dance Video which was organized by
Kim MacGregor.
Kim created this as a tribute to her best friend Erika Heller who
died of colon cancer last year. Each and every telephone conversation they ever had, Erika would end by telling Kim “You’re an amazing woman”! Well, Kim wanted to do something special to honour her friend…. and this is the result. Please visit this site as it honours amazing women everywhere and click on this link…
HERE IT IS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfcKvevod3k .
Kim’s goal is to reach 1,000,000 viewers so, please do your part to help her reach her goal and pass this on!

Today while I was running some errands I left all of my windows in my car rolled down. When I came back, not a thing had been taken out of my car, but someone had put a sticky note that said “SMILE! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL” on my rearview mirror.
It was very touching.
Thank you for what you are doing.
Just wanted to let you know that I found one of your notes in one of those aeroplane magazines when I was reading it. It made my day
Unfortunately I didnt not manage to get a picture because I hadn’t found out about operation beautiful yet. However, im going to spain on staurday and I have my post it note pad with me ready to write messages

Kepp doing what your doing! You are truly beautiful x
I just wanted to let you know that what your doing is amazing and really worthwhile so I wrote about you on my blog, ( http://www.iwishedonastar,blogspot.com ) and I hope it gets more people involved.
I’m a seventeen year old, and this site was so inspirational. I struggled with an eating disorder for many years. I went up and down, and up and down. I could never find myself. I felt lost and alone. I finally realized that people love me just the way I am and was. People didn’t love me because I was rail thin, they loved me because of me, and only me and my personality. It’s so sad how many negative messages are sent out to kids my age. It’s hard to ever feel comfortable in your own skin. And the worst part of it is, these kids will go to college and deteriorate. The stress of college and the stress of what people perceive as beauty is ridiculous. I wish we could all learn to comfortable in our own skin! I really appreciate this site!
God loves u!!! <3 Morgan lol.
I remeber, I was at school, and I had decided to participate in Operation Beautiful. I posted notes all over the bathroom mirrors, putting alot of time and effort into trying to make others feel good. When I came back later, they were all gone. I don’t know if they were taken down out of spite, or girls wanted to keep them because they made them smile, but I really hope they helped somebody. Later on that day, a teacher came up to me and asked if I was the one who did it. Thinking I was in trouble, I quietly said I was. She told me she knew it was me the second she saw them, and she thought it was really sweet. It really made my day. <3
This website has inspired me to remind everyone they are beautiful. I posted tons of notes in the mall yesterday and I wish I had a camera I posted them on tables, in bathrooms, in self help books, and in the toothpaste aisle and makeup aisles of Target. I didn’t have a camera, but I used my phone to tell my friends about what I was doing, and inspired at least one friend to do the same. I felt good and happy. Thanks for the idea that changed my life and everyone else’s.
So, I have been posting videos and spreading word of something like this. It’s a self-esteem thing. And my friend told me to check this out. I absolutely love it and I’ll be posting notes everywhere I can. Anyway, awesome idea.

I have been involved with To Write Love On Her Arms for over 6 months now and the love that is being poured into twloha is amazing. I do believe with all of my heart that Operation Beautiful is a BEAUTIFUL THING.and I hope women continue to know that THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL.
I was in borders yesterday browsing through the Teen Books, when I saw the “Clique” series. Although I don’t know the specifics, I know its about self hate and striving to be perfect. It got me down about life. Thats when I saw a little yellow paper stuck to the wall. It said “Smile, Gorgeous, the sun shines just for you” That made my day, especially considering what series it was by.
I think that thats amazing
Rachel;) lol.<3

this is a AMAZING MOVEMENT<3. i was actully looking up makeup info lol and there was a stickynote on the site that said " your amazing! did you know that?" i saw the website at the bottom of that note and been motivated ever since:) school starts in 2 months & this is a great way to help with highschool drama/depression. I was called ugly by alot of guys & girls 2yrs ago and now even though i get attention from guys those feelings always comeback once in while and sometimes it takes a note on the bathroom mirrior to make someones day. I wish there were more movements like this…..so many girls/women are told what they have to do or look like to be beautiful or they wont get aceppted in life & the truth is ALL WOMEN ARE BEAUTIFUL no matter what anyone says and no one should have to live up to someone elses expectations
THATS TRUE!!!
* LILY* <3…ALL WOMAN ARE BEAUTIFUL" INSIDE! AND OUT!!
<3" THOSE ARE WORDS 2 LIVE UP 2!!! LILY*<3

I work in a retail store and the other day while opening I found a not on the mirror. It just made my day. It so cute and cheerful and colorful and today I’m off to post some myself! I love that something so easy and simple can change someone else’s day and its just great!
i know right !! <3
lol
I think this is an amazing thing! Good image messages for women are far and view between. We all look so differently and to compare ourselves to someone we think is perfect in every way is so damaging. There is so much more to the average woman then her “looks.”
I proud to be apart of this and I will start to post good messages wherever I go
Love love love your website! You have such a great thing going!
This couldn’t have come at a better time. In the last three months I have lost two homes, forced to file for bankruptcy, had my SUV repossesed, gained the courage to leave my bum of a husband after nine years and my dog of 14 years died in March. I got depressed, stopped taking care of myself, stopped being a volunteer. This movement stopped me in my tracks and hit me hard, I felt empowered for the first time in along time, I have had weight and image issues my whole life. I was Modeling/Fashion Consulting for years, it became my identity. I started seeing signs of getting older & people treated me different. I didn’t know who to be. SO, this is a new opportunity for me to start over as a healthy beautiful person – inside and outside. I am not afraid, I have just realized that I am still beautiful and most of all worthy of loving myself with complete freedom. I am determined to age with grace. I already have my sticky notes and pen in my purse!I Thank You so much for this gift. -You Truely Are Beautiful and Valuable!
You and -You Are Beautiful and Strong.
Keep the Faith Wendy.
Let me share with you one of the post-notes I put out today. Hope it gives you strength. Peace and Blessings
“Life isn’t about waiting for the Storm to pass,
It’s about learning to Dance in the Rain”.
im fifteen and a lot of the beautiful ladies at my school are having self esteem issues right now. my mom was watching the today show this morning and i stopped by to check it out and when i heard what operation beautiful was all about i HAD to learn more. its a great thing what these gals are doing and im actually going to start sticky noting every ladies mirror i come upon.! super smart idea:) keep up the good work.!
I saw the piece on the Today Show and was completely inspired! I telecommute and it’s a slow day so I busted out the post-it’s and crayons and have been creating “love notes” all morning!
I was watching The Today Show this morning and saw this story about operation beautiful and was so moved. I had to check out this web site. The first thing I noticed was a comment from Anchorage, Alaska, and that someone was posting notes right here in my hometown. So, I will join her and maybe get some more followers. I think this idea is great and I hope it helps women all over realize that they are beautiful. Thank you Caitlyn!!!
I saw Operation Beautiful on the Today show this morning and after watching the segment I became absolutely inspired
Caitlin: I absolutely love your idea. I have been struggling with self image for so long and now its not a problem anymore. I am going to participate in operation beautiful and spread the word around where I live. It is truly amazing. thank you so much for everything you are doing
This is an AMAZING sight!! I am going to start spreading it around like wild fire! Beware empowered beautiful women are on the loose!!
This is a great idea! We are so hard on ourselves and others at time. We have to try and see that we are beautiful. I remember walking into the pharmacy one time and this girl was walking towards the door at the same time. I could see that she was going out to a club but she seemed to be self conscious of her appearance. I looked right at her and said “you look absolutely beautiful” and she was shocked and tears came to her eyes. I kept walking but I just wanted to give her a little confidence boost. I like to think she felt a little bit better about her appearance.
Hats off to you Caitlin! THANKS!!!
What you are doing with this movement is truely wonderful.
Thank you
Also…if you were sell sticky notes that already had your website printed on them… I would totally buy some
I seen you on the Today Show this morning!! Thank you for what you are doing!!! I am a big girl who doesn’t believe she is or ever will be beautiful in today’s society. You have given me the courage to challenge how I think and feel about myself!!! I put a note in my bag that says Carrie is beautiful. I’ve seen it a bunch of times already today and I can’t help but smile!!! Thank you Caitlin!!! I promise to pay this forward everywhere I go!!!
i just saw this on the today show this morning and couldnt wait to check out this site. now i cant wait to go back to school and post some notes in the girls bathrooms! (:
heard about this on the today show. All I can say is THANKS. Perfect timing for me. Went to the gym and gave it my best. Changed my attitude about how I look at myself and others.
Merry Meet to the wonderful people who are doing this. I look forward to brightening the day of even one person. Positive affirmations are powerful tools. Bless you all for the joy that you bring to the world.
Love & Light, Denise Morgan
I saw a post it at Borders. I smiled
It was nice to know that someone out there is thinking about making someone else’s day.
This is the most awesome thing I think I have ever heard of. Keep up the good work and keep the message going. The world needs more positivity like this.
Im fifteen and was planning on never eating again so i could be beautiful and then i stumbled across this website and just wanted to say reading everybodys comments and stories and reading the websites made me so happy to hear about all of these woman who all they needed was a note . I plan on leaving lots of notes:) everyone deserves to feel beautiful! and I’m very excited to read the book!:)
I am a middle school teacher, and after seeing you on the Today show I started thinking that maybe I should implement this in my school – just leave random positive notes in the girls’ bathrooms. I have a thought, and maybe this goes against what your real mission is because it makes it a bit less personal, but perhaps you could compile all the messages that you’ve written yourself or that other people have sent to you and create a sticky notepad that you sell on this site. That way, if there are people who really want to get involved, but just aren’t quite sure what to say, they will have some notes ready for when an opportunity arises. What do you think?
Im going to try to do this soon!!!
Thanks for the suggestion.
It holds me in rapture every time I see people reaching out to others in ways that neither promote financial gain, nor personal prosperity. This “operation” is a wonderful sentiment to humanity. Thank you to all who wish to participate in this selfless act of kindness.
