Chrissy said, “I was spending my birthday at Ikea last week and I saw a post-it inspired by the Operation Beautiful site in the bathroom. I teach high school, and that’s a hard time for body image. I’ve posted a few of these notes in our girls’ bathrooms this week now!”
Katy wrote, “After finding Operation Beautiful via GivesMeHope, the site immediately inspired me to help spread the love. Still recovering from a severe depression, I just knew one of these post-it notes could make some body’s day. I set to work immediately writing tons of notes, the next morning I snuck out of my science class and managed to put up two notes, as unfortunately someone entered the bathroom. However, these two simple things gave me a such warm fuzzy feeling inside, I plan to stick up the rest during the rest of the week.“
Kaedee wrote, “I found out about Operation Beautiful through a friend of mine, and I love it! I read through some of the past weeks stories and they are amazing! This has inspired me to start posting post it notes around my high school and when I checked today, some were gone! I even gave one to one of my friends who was having a bad day, and she freaked! She said I had just made her day. And for the rest of the day, I saw her smiling too!I hope I brightened somebody else’s day at my school too!I made these notes today, and I’m posting them tomorrow.”
Laurel wrote, “Thank you, Operation Beautiful, for inspiring so many people. I live overseas and the community here is in need of some inspiration so I am on a mission! I figure if the women are happier, then the men will be happier too!”
