I look for things like this on-line when I’m feeling really negative about myself. These images remind me that no one is perfect and that everyone has their own insecurities. I’m working on recovering from an eating disorder and I’ve been slipping back into relapse, I’m so glad I looked at the site and the images before I got out of bed because it’s given me the strength to go eat breakfast. Thank you for that.
Was watching an episode of The Dr’s this evening and Operation Beautiful was shown! You go girls… we must stop this manipulation by the media and buying into this blatant FALSE ADVERTISING… Going to spread the word here… God bless
Thank you so much for posting this. Sometimes it really kills me seeing all of those flawless people on magazine covers. Its nice to be reminded that their bodies are no more or less perfect then mine.
Thank you so much for posting these. I used to look in the mirror and ask myself what other girls have that I don’t, but now I just smile and think of all the good things about myself. This has really shown me how to have a “beautiful” attitude.

We need to teach our children, boys AND girls, that they do not need to wear make-up, be skinny, have a certain hair color, have big muscles, go tanning, etc….to be beautiful. They are lovely just as they are, with scraped knees from playing, messy hair from sleeping late, zits from being a teenager and hairy legs from not spending a ridiculous amount of time in the bathroom. Let’s enjoy our imperfect beauty…each and every one of us has it.
Today, in the ladies’ room at my gym, I saw FOUR post-its with the most lovely words on them. At first I thought: Who did this? Then, after re-reading the messages, I couldn’t help but smile. It set the tone for the rest of my day! Thank you, Universe and Thank you, Caitlin for this wonderful empowering website! : )
