We posted and stuck notes all over. We also have been leaving some around our school. Its so amazing to just spread the love. Something really cool that we did was that before we left Walmart, we decided to hand one personally to 2 different women. As we were walking, there was a woman who just looked like the world was falling apart (or at least that day was not a good day), so I handed her a card that said "you’re worth it." My friend handed a cashier a card that said "have a beautiful day.” It was something small, but we felt huge!”
Lauren wrote, “I’m not exactly enjoying all of student teaching. It’s hard and stressful and I’m not getting paid. Monday I received word from my bank that over the weekend someone got hold of my debit number online and cleaned out both of my accounts. I ran out of school and cried. I’ve felt horrible emotionally and physically all week because of it. I grabbed some post-its yesterday to raise my spirits. I put two up in teacher’s restroom and when I went in there this morning it was still up! I felt great. I’m about to head back in and post another one above it. This is my new mission to get me through the rest of this placement.”
Deb wrote, “Today at the cancer hospital, I wrote my notes and stuck them up next to the sign for the Blood Draw. AT THAT EXACT MOMENT that I was taking the photo- who should walk by but my Dad’s doctor! She asked what I was doing. When I told her about Operation Beautiful and that I like to put notes around Norris Cancer Institute she looked at me and said "THAT’S COOL!".”

To Emma – I am a sophomore in high school, and I’ve never had a boyfriend. You don’t need a boy to be happy, and you’re amazing and beautiful with or without one! =]
i waited a long time for a real boyfriend too, and it was worth it
