Ashley works for Lululemon Outlet in Orlando, Florida.  The store is turning into one giant Operation Beautiful display!  Here are some of the photos:

Jeremiah wrote, “I just stumbled upon a note that had the Operation Beautiful site on it. I’m a 26 year old male. I love what you are all doing. I wish more girls/women were able to be happier with the way they look. It drives me insane to hear beautiful women tell me that they think they’re ugly. As a guy, they mostly will not listen to me. I do what I can by sending them texts every now and then reminding them about how beautiful they are. Again thanks. The following video is pretty powerful if helping people realize that they are beautiful:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnVD7WuarSo

Debi wrote, “I’m currently on an entirely Freshman female wing of a dorm at our college, Western Illinois University.  As I’m sure you know, women tend to be self-conscious.  I suffered from anxiety for years due to this, and still to this day struggle with it.  I figured I would give the women on my floor a little pick me up for the day.  These photos are of the messages left on the mirrors in our floor bathroom.”

Nancy wrote, “My sister Christina would leave me notes like this when I was 18.  Her  notes made me feel so proud and that I could believe in myself.  I turned 40 in March of last year, and the messages my sister had left me I had kept for 22 years.  My daughter Claire, who is 14, introduced me to Operation Beautiful.  Together, we shared it with my 5th grader daughter, who has begun to leave notes in her school bathroom.  We are empowering other women to believe in and love themselves, and to truly start accepting themselves for who they are and not what other people expect them to be.  That is where love begins – within!”

Do you read Operation Beautiful every day?  Doesn’t it make you feel GOOD inside?  If you’re a loyal reader, become a poster, too!  Write a note, take a picture, and e-mail it to seebriderun@gmail.com.  Each note goes up on the site!

My two best friends and I began posting these notes around our middle school a few months ago. Eigth graders can be really insecure, but sixth graders and new students are even worse. I began taking different routes to my classes to put them all around the school. We were worried about getting into trouble, but it eventually caught on, and now even some teachers are doing it! Operation Beautiful is a really great thing, and it can really make a difference. (:
