This wonderful Mock PSA was just posted on School Tube:
Emily wrote, “I posted this little sticky note in a bathroom at a nearby shopping centre. If you can’t read it, the note says "Why are you wasting your time looking in this mirror? You’re already beautiful enough as it is, no matter what anyone says. Get out there and show yourself to the world.
" I love this project and I think it is a great way to make people smile.”
Daisy wrote, “I came across this site a few weeks ago when a girl from my school left a note on the bathroom mirror that said "This mirror does not define you. Beauty is not a size. Intelligence is not a number. You are gorgeous, go out and change the world.operationbeautiful.com" It made my whole week. Since then, I’ve done everything I could to spread the word about Operation Beautiful! I’ve started leaving post-it notes in the bathroom saying things like "You’re beautiful." or "Have a nice day, gorgeous." I’m planning on going into school early after break and posting about 200 post-it notes on the bathroom mirrors. I absolutely love the concept of this website and will continue spreading the beautiful-awareness.”
Steph wrote, “This website not only allows me to help change the way girls feel about themselves and remind them that THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL, but it is also reminds me that though I may not be perfect, God created me for a reason and I am beautiful in His eyes! I put this post it note in the Christian bookstore today.”
Wendy wrote, “I wanted to share Operation Beautiful with the people around me
so this is what my bathroom door looks like – some things are in Dutch!”
Danielle wrote, “I posted this note in the bathroom at Target!”
Maddie wrote, “I found Operation Beautiful off of another website when a totally random girl posted a comment on my profile that said: "You are beautiful, so smile babe!" Underneath it, it said: "operationbeautiful.com." I was so shocked, but happy, so I decided to share the love.
I took this picture in the bathroom of Books A Million, and I hope that someone will feel the same way I did when I got my first note.”
Desiree wrote, “As someone who is going to school for their doctorate in clinical psychology so that I can help adolescents (specifically females) who struggle from issues related to self worth (self-injury, eating disorders, etc), it is refreshing to see other people out there, making a difference. I have struggled with those same issues for years; it also hits close at a personal level. In January of this year, when I finally decided to take my life back, I took the attached picture to remind myself that the number on a scale is just that: a number. I broke my scale shortly thereafter and found other things to focus on that were more healthy.”
If you love Operation Beautiful and want to participate, post a note, take a picture, and e-mail it to Caitlin at seebriderun@gmail.com.

Wow, the scale-picture is so right! *.*
Love the video! I wonder if it was a school project?
I think this is a beautiful project, there is nothing more attractive than a woman who is comfortable in confident with who she is and does not feel like she has to fit a unrealistic standard created by the media. My first post on my own blog discusses this very topic I would love for you to shed some insight on the subject.
