Katie wrote, “I have been a faithful watcher of the Operation Beautiful site for several months now, and have posted a few notes of my own, but have never seen one myself. To be honest, I’d really been wondering if other people in my area actually did them, or even knew about the website. Today I got my answer, and it brought the biggest smile to my face! Dear Mystery Person who left this in the Owens Community College girls bathroom, I just love you, and you made my whole day!”
Jordan wrote, “I made this after seeing all the inspirational things other people have wrote, I thought i would do my share and hopefully make a few people’s day!”
Ashley had this conversation with a stranger on Omegle:
Kimberly wrote, “I wanted to say that I love Operation Beautiful. Earlier this week, I sent out a text to every girl I know, saying, “I sent this to you because you are a strong, smart, beautiful woman. Have a great day, laugh lots, and smile often. Forward this to all the amazing girls you know. You may be surprised how many you get back.” A few of the girls sent it back, and several replied to say thanks and tell me they forwarded the text. I was so happy.”
L Scott wrote, “School just began two weeks ago. I was having a tough time dealing with a breakup along with attempting to keep myself on track for my Spring Break body. I was having an awful day last week and felt like I looked awful because I was wearing workout clothes and no makeup [with imperfect skin]. I felt like I was going to be sick to my stomach so I decided to go to the bathroom just in case. I walked into the bathroom stall and found the note on the door, "You are Beautiful! Don’t let anyone tell you anything different." This absolutely made my day. Right after class I saw the guy that I had just ended things with and instead of being embarrassed i walked right up with confidence and chatted with him. I think he could tell because their was no awkwardness to the conversation and things went well. I couldn’t wait to get home and check out the website attached to the note. I feel like this is such an amazing, anonymous gift to receive. I am truly grateful for whoever posted this note and I promise to promote this website as much as I can! Thank you!”
