Check out the Operation Beautiful book here!
Rhonda wrote this on a sidewalk on UNCC’s campus:
Lizzie wrote, “I was very inspired by Operation Beautiful and I wanted to be a part of it. So when my family and I went down to Ohio and stayed at the Kalahari Resort, I saw an opportunity. I stuck this note in a dressing room. (Yes, it’s on toilet paper.) I hope this note made someone’s day.”
Jess posted this note:
Sam wrote, “I LOVE the idea of helping people embrace who they are and spreading love to others. I will be traveling to Africa in a few days to study abroad and I would l love to spread this concept here overseas as well. I posted it on the mirror of the bathroom in my town’s local cafe!”
Yiara wrote, “ I am in the field of mental health, and it is a daily task to help women and men overcome their negative self-talk and body distortions. As we sat for lunch, I told my co-workers about the segment and we saw an incredible opportunity to use this with our clients. That afternoon I left a few notes in my co-worker’s file cabinets to see what the response would be, and this morning I got a post-it note on my desk as a birthday present with a gift card. I am a woman FULL of life in all senses (hate using "full figured", we are all full figured unless you have lost a piece of your body, don’t you think?!). I am a Latino Woman who does not, and never has, fit the stereotype of "traditional beauty", and even though I thought of using the post-its with others, never did I think it would have such an impact in my life. This note lit up my day, and made my birthday extra-special! what started as something I did out of total selflessness got back to me in less than a day…talk about Karma…isn’t THAT beautiful!!”
Anna wrote, “I was just informed of this awesome website from a co-worker. I looked over what Operation Beautiful is all about and thought that it is a beautiful, inspirational mission that even I could follow. Never heard it said to be “Fat Talk” but it makes much sense. I work with all ages of boys and girls at a Boys & Girls Club facility, but I have a focus group with the 10 to 12 year old girls, so this mission is very inspirational in so many ways. I know that if it sparked my interest it will definitely with them. It also will help inspire many other girls and boys. Me and my fellow co-worker are starting our beginning of this mission today and see where it goes.”
Sara wrote, “This is the first note I’ve posted. It’s in the changing room at the local gym.”

I have left some Operation Beautiful notes around UNCC too this week. I love it when I find OB on campus from other people, it feels so nice to know that I am not the only one trying to brighten someone’s day!
These notes are amazing! I love this website I think that more people should think this way. Thanks for putting this together.
I love how beautiful the first one looks on the bricks!
